Back Ordered or Out Of Stock
Most of the time we have all the product range available with us but due to heavy demand on some products we may have a stock out. The products, which are available with us, are shipped within 48 hours of receipt of your order. For out of stock products the lead-time, which is required to fulfill your order, is mentioned on product detail page. There might be times when we may not be able to fulfill your order in the stipulated time, in which case, we inform you the expected duration by mail. You may choose to cancel the order or accept the delay.
If you are ordering multiple products then please use the maximum lead-time (of all the products in your shopping cart) for calculating delivery period. As of now, we do not offer part delivery; we are planning to implement that in the near future. Please keep checking the site to find out the latest additions.

Mispricing of Products
We always ensure that the prices which are displayed on our web site are correct. In case of any mispricings on the site, we do the following :
- If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and ship you the item.
- If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we ship you the item at the stated price, the difference in the cost is borne by Select Security Systems.
We don't charge your credit card until we ship your order. If you've paid by check and we owe you a full or partial refund, we will send a refund check for the correct amount immediately.

Why do I need an account at Select Security Systems?
Select Security Systems provides complimentary "Accounts" to each subscriber for quick and easy online shopping.
Your Account stores your address, and, if you'd like, your payment information so that you can make purchases with just a few mouse clicks. For complete security, you choose a unique password.
With Your Account you can also check order status and track shipments directly on-line.

How do I change my account information?
To change My Account information, click on the "My Account" link at the top of each page on our web site. You will be asked to log on with your mail id and password. The "My Account" page has menu options under "Account Management Head". You can choose the relevant option from these to update My account information. Read more about account management.
Please note that editing "My Account" only affects future orders. For changing information about already placed orders, go to "Order Management" in "My Account".

How do I know my transaction is secure?
For absolute security we use the industry standard SSL (secure socket layer) technology whenever we ask for personal information. Customer data is stored on a secure server to protect it from outside parties.

How do I place an order?
Ordering at Select Security Systems is fast and secure. Just follow these four simple steps to place your order.
- To add an item to your shopping cart, click the Add to Shopping Cart button on any product detail page or on "Buy Now" link at any catalogue page.
- Your shopping cart is always visible to you on most of the screens where you can see what all items you have picked up.
- When you're finished shopping, click the checkout icon in the shopping cart itself, or the "shopping cart" link at the top bar of your screen.
- Fill out the online order form and complete the checkout process.
Select Security Systems will send you an order confirmation via e-mail. An account is automatically created for you once you place your first order so you won't have to enter all the information again when you order next.

How do I cancel an order?
You may cancel any item that has not yet entered the shipping process. Orders for in-stock products (ship within 48 hours) enter the shipping process immediately after you place your order. You cannot cancel your order for in stock products.
Orders for backordered items may be canceled until the day the product ships.
To cancel an order for a backordered item, please mail us with your order number.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Master and Visa credit cards. You also have the option to pay through check but you will have to place the order through our site.
We do not take orders through phone, though you have an option to communicate your credit card number to us through phone or fax. For doing this, simply choose "pay by phone option" on the payment page in your order form.

Is it safe to use my credit card?

How much do you charge for shipping? And do you ship overseas?
Select Security Systems offers UPS ground shipping, UPS second day air, UPS 3 day select and UPS next day air. We also offer USPS priority mail. Shipping charges (as per UPS and USPS guidelines) are automatically calculated when you place an order. They are also offered to you for comparison while filling your order form.

Return Policy
Our returns policy is simple. Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return any items for a full refund or a replacement if any items have been damaged during transit or if you are for any reason not satisfied with your purchase. Please make sure that you include all original packaging, payment invoice, carrier packing slip and reason for return with the goods that you return.
